Annual Awards

Each year, the CCIAA presents an award to two recipients:

  • Member’s Award: to be presented to the CCIAA member, in good standing, who
    is recognized for outstanding contributions to CCIAA and the field of Crime &
    Intelligence Analysis.

  • Innovation Award: to be presented to the CCIAA member, in good standing, who
    is recognized for their innovative use and development of the Crime & Intelligence
    process.

    Nominations shall be in writing and submitted via U.S. mail or email to Barbara
    Beverly, Crime & Intelligence Analyst, Placer County Sheriff’s Dept., 2929
    Richardson Dr, Auburn, CA  95603 or bbeverly@placer.ca.gov.  Anyone with
    personal knowledge of the member’s qualifications can nominate.  People can
    nominate more than one person, but all nominees shall be individuals.  
    Members can nominate themselves.  The deadline for mailing nominations is
    August 1, 2010.  There is no page length minimum or maximum.  The
    nomination shall include:

  1. The name of the person you are nominating, their agency, their contact
    information, and their CCIAA chapter
  2. Which award they are being nominated for and WHY
  3. The name and contact information of the person who is doing the nominating

The Conference Committee will determine the winner of each award, which will be
presented at the conference.
