The International Association of Crime Analysts (IACA) is pleased to announce that the IACA certification exam will be offered at the 2010 CCIAA Conference in South Lake Tahoe, CA, on September 13 - 17, 2010. If you are interested in taking the certification exam to become an IACA Certified Law Enforcement Analyst (CLEA), applications must be RECEIVED by the IACA no later than August 1, 2010. To qualify to sit for the exam, you must meet the following criteria: have at least 3 years of full-time experience as an analyst in the field of law enforcement, intelligence, corrections, or related-fields; be a current member of the IACA; satisfy point criteria found in the certification program outline. If you will be submitting your application, be sure to include all supporting documentation to include proof of employment, official college transcripts, certificates of course completion, proof of teaching/speaking engagements, etc. Your application cannot be processed without complete supporting documentation and the application fee of $150.
